About Vikas Finlay Towers

Vikas Finlay Towers is a well-established Cooperative Housing Society located in Parel, Mumbai, functioning under the provisions of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act. Since its inception, the society has stood as a symbol of community living, trust, and collective growth. Over the years, it has nurtured a close-knit residential environment where generations of families have built their homes and lives.

The society comprises two residential towers constructed several decades ago, reflecting the architectural standards and urban planning of their time. While the buildings have served residents reliably over the years, natural aging and evolving safety, structural, and lifestyle requirements have made modernization both necessary and inevitable.

Today, Vikas Finlay Towers continues to uphold its core values of transparency, cooperation, and member welfare. The Managing Committee, along with the active participation of its members, remains committed to ensuring that all decisions are taken in the best interest of the society while complying with statutory guidelines and governance frameworks.

Redevelopment Project of Vikas Finlay Tower

Recognizing the need for structural renewal and enhanced living standards, the Society has initiated the process of redevelopment in accordance with the guidelines issued under Section 79A of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act.

A duly convened General Body Meeting was held in September 2025, wherein the proposal for redevelopment was discussed in detail. After careful deliberation, a majority of the members expressed their consent and formally approved moving forward with the redevelopment of the existing structures. This marks a significant milestone in the Society’s journey toward modernization and future readiness.

The redevelopment project aims to provide residents with safer, more sustainable, and contemporary living spaces, while also improving infrastructure, amenities, and overall quality of life. The Managing Committee has now commenced the next phase of the process, which includes adherence to legal procedures, appointment of consultants, and ensuring regulatory compliance at every stage.
